It is a 7-member multinational boy group that debuted on January 16, 2014 at JYP Entertainment. GOT7 consists of 4 Koreans, 1 Taiwanese-American, 1 Hong Kong, and 1 Thai. The group name GOT7 means the group name revealed in the early days is seven people with luck.

GOT7's early musical tendency was a hip-hop group introduced by JYP for the first time, but now it is playing not only hip-hop but also various genres of music.

In addition, from the album released in 2016, a large number of members' own songs are recorded, revealing the individual's musical color.

From 2017, the leader JB's own song was selected as the title song, gradually finding the identity of the group.

The differentiating factor that was representative of the initial concept was a genre that combines elements that appear in martial arts such as kicks and turning movements, called Marshall Arts tricking, and the style of B-Boing.

Rather than Marshall Arts, it mainly shows energetic and powerful performances that make use of the members' individual dance lines. Perhaps this is to avoid the risk of accidents caused by Marshall Arts.

There is a theory that GOT7 uses the concept of'Dan' with boyish characteristics and the concept of'San' with an intense and masculine feeling alternately, and that it is a'Dan's concept'.
