SPICA of 5-member girl group

Named after a famous star in the Virgo constellation, the girls hit the k-pop scene riding on the coat tails of famous k-pop diva.

Lee Hyori was featured in the music video for their debut single, for the song 'Potently'. Of course it was quite an effective way to get the public's attention.

Their real musical ace was intended to be their title track off of their mini album though : Russian Roulette.

Russian Roulette was produced by Sweetune, who was also the brains behind Infinite's hit song "Paradise".

SPICA sings about threatening suicide as the relationship is coming to an end. The song features an 80's sound with guitar and synth riffs.

The best part of the song though is undoubtedly SPICA's killer vocals. They hit all the notes and can perfectly harmonize.

Their talent comes with much experience. For example, Na-rae made it onto the top 10 of the popular singing show Super Star K.

BoA was the vocal trainer for group Infinite, Bo-hyeong was once a YG Entertainment trainee, and Ji-won was at one point a member of T-ara's original lineup.

She was also in Five Girls before they unfortunately had to disband even before debuting. Her fellow Five Girls members went on to pursue other acts: G.na, After School's UEE, Secret's Hyosung, and Wonder Girls' Yubin.
